TS Players Guide

Both players need a 50-card deck and 6-10 d6. Both players shuffle their decks, offer a cut, and roll to determine who goes first. Then, both players draw 5 cards. Mulligan. You may repeat this process if you're displeased with your starting 5. For each card you exchange moving forward, you must pay -1 “Tasuo Armor” from your starting 10. Once both players accept their hand of destiny, it's time to battle!

1st Phase - Doh

2nd Phase - Play Phase

3rd Phase - Charge Phase

4th Phase - Clash Phase

5th Phase - End Phase

 

[Doh]: Draw 2 or Heal +2TA

[Play Phase]: Call [WC] Activate [LI], [BL], and [SET] [RSP]

[Charge Phase]: Build/harness [KA], [KAO], [KIO] energy or play a mana card from your [Ultra Deck].

[Clash Phase]: Attack the enemy player.

[End Phase]: At the end of the turn, some game mechanics and cards may resolve then.

Battle Alignment and Battle Effects


[Bleed]: Cards that receive the [BA] [Bleed] take [1 DMG] when attacking/defending. Cards with “Bleed” take [1 DMG] during either end phase.


[Burn]: Cards that receive the [BA] [Burn] deal half damage, and cannot [Arm] Two-handed weapons. Cards with “Burn” take [1 DMG] during either end phase.


[Freeze]: Cards that receive the [BA] “Frozen” cards cannot attack or defend. If the card is [Face-Down, it cannot be [Activated].  “Frozen” cards that take 4 or more Damage while “frozen” get sent to the [OZ].


[Immobilize]: “Immobilized” cards cannot attack or defend.


[Poison]: Cards that receive the [BA] [Poison] can only defend once per chain and take [1 DMG] when attacking/defending or [Activating]. Cards with “Poison” take [1 DMG] during either end phase.


[SB]: Spirit Breaker: When cards with “Spirit Breaker” deal enough damage to a warrior to destroy it, any remaining damage is dealt to the players [TA] who controlled that card.


[SP]: Spirit Piercer: When cards with “Spirit Piercer” deal damage, they deal half the damage to your opponent [TA].


[Stun]: “Stunned” cards cannot be [Activated]. In addition, if it’s a [WC], it takes double [DMG] when damaged, and the defending [WC] may not use cards from hand to defend.

Card Types


Warrior Cards: May be played/called during the active player's Play Phase to the warrior class zones unless the card says otherwise.

 

Bloodlusted Cards: Bloodlusted cards are played/activated during ANY phase of your turn from hand. You may set (which means place face-down) said Bloodlusted cards during your play phase. If you do, it may be played/activated (Flipped face-up) the following turn during ANY phase of either player's turn.

 

Legendary Item Cards: Legendary item cards are ONLY played/activated during Your Turn during the play phase unless stated otherwise in the card text.


Responsive Cards: Responsive Cards are set during the play phase. These cards MUST BE set the previous turn to be played/activated.


Defensive Cards: May be played/activated at any time from the hand or face-down in the LZ/GZ.

 

Attack Cards: May be played/activated during the active player's turn, Clash Phase.
